This webinar session provides an opportunity to better understand the achievements, challenges and opportunities of tsunami warning and mitigation system for Pacific Island Countries (PIC) and identify areas of collaboration and engagement for an effective and efficient tsunami warning and mitigation system. The panel will discuss lessons learnt from tsunami events in the Southwest Pacific that shaped current tsunami early warning and mitigation system and from national and regional initiatives that continues to strengthen tsunami early warning and mitigation system.
